Here we find original saxophonist from the Hunter Trio, Dave Ellis, with Charlie and Mike Clark, the drummer from Herbie Hancock's old funk band, the Headhunters. The trio contributes a Jackie McLean standard to start this record off and finishes with a rendition of the Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows".
